Polylactic Acid


A commonly used material in 3D printing. 


  • Mainly used in applications that do not require high mechanical performance, such as characters, decorative items and prototypes intended for the analysis of form and function.
  • Although it is considerably resistant at room temperature, it softens at 60 °C.
  • Available in a wide variety of colors and mixes with wood and metal powders to give visual options.

It is a material that can be used for certain mechanical applications.


  • It is shiny, somewhat flexible and moderately resistant.
  • It can be used for products that are exposed to the sun.
  • Preserves its dimensions over time.
  • Its softening temperature is 80 °C.

It is a material widely used in the manufacture of the first sample pieces before mass production.


  • It has good mechanical properties, but degrades under ultraviolet light.
  • Its softening temperature is 87 °C.

ASA

This material is considered the successor to ABS, since being chemically very similar, ASA is slightly better than ABS in all aspects, with the additional quality of being resistant to UV light.


  • It has an attractive matte finish.
  • Accepts good post-processing (sanding, polishing, etc.).
  • Can be used for items left outdoors.
  • It has good mechanical resistance, retains its dimensions under prolonged stress.
  • It is used in automotive parts among other functional applications.
  • Its softening temperature is 93 °C.

This is the strongest material we offer for functional 3D printed engineering parts.


  • Difficult to print but satisfactorily resistant to friction and mechanical stress.
  • It is also resistant to ultraviolet light, so it can be used for end-use parts that remain in the sun for prolonged periods.
  • Its softening temperature is 110 °C.

With the same propperties as policarbonate with a finer matte finish. 

 

  • The carbon fibers immersed in the material contribute to better control of the mechanical dimensions of the piece.
  • Parts made from this material can operate without deformation up to 114°C.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane


This is a technical material designated for flexible parts such as rubber.


  • It can be used for non-slip bases, edges with mechanical seal, flexible joints among other applications.
  • For parts that are not exposed to temperatures above 60 °C.
